Friendship talks are a structured approach aimed at girls and boys in years 5-6 to discuss social and environmental topics related to improving the school environment and to prepare children for life’s journeys. Recent topics include ‘how to be a good friend on social media’ and ‘how to be a good friend to the environment’.
International Children’s Day is celebrated at our home arena (Monitor ERP) with 2200 children from years 5 and 6. The purpose of this is to raise awareness and highlight children’s rights in accordance with The Convention on the Rights of the Child, which became Swedish Law in 2020.
The Way In is a programme with a focus on youth employment. Here we focus on entrepreneurship as well as increasing the number of young people that are working or studying in our region.
The Leadership Academy is a leadership course offered for free to all people working as leaders for children and youths in our region.
Playday brings together a variety of associations in our region twice per year to Monitor ERP arena with the goal of giving children a chance to try new activities. Long term the aim of Playday is to enable as many children as possible to find a new interest and thus a meaningful leisure activity.
